Local-first, Git-backed file workspace that lets AI agents work on your real files with scoped permissions and full version history.
About puppyone
puppyone is a file workspace built for multi-agent collaboration. It ingests SaaS data (Notion, Slack, Gmail, Postgres, and more) into a unified, versioned file system where every agent gets its own scoped permissions. Every change is tracked with Git-style version control — each write is a commit tagged with agent identity and a full diff — so you can roll back mistakes and swap agents anytime. Agents connect via MCP, Bash/SSH, REST API, or Sandbox. Open source with a self-hosted Docker deployment; files stay local by default until you choose to publish.
Key Features
Local by Default
Your files stay entirely on your computer until you choose to publish a Git-backed workspace for teammates and connected agents.
Git-Style Version Control
Every human or agent edit is a commit with a full diff. Branch before risky operations, roll back to any previous state instantly.
Per-Agent Scoped Permissions
Each agent connects with its own Access Point and sees only what it's allowed to — one agent reads /finance while another writes /docs, with no overlap.
15+ SaaS Connectors
Sync Notion, Slack, Gmail, Google Sheets, Postgres, MongoDB, Linear, Jira, Airtable, and GitHub into standard .json and .md files any agent can read.
