Nexus Shell
Nexus Shell
Native macOS SSH client with terminal, SFTP, Docker management, keys, and live server monitoring in one pane.
About Nexus Shell
Nexus Shell is a native SwiftUI macOS SSH client (no Electron) that combines a multi-tab terminal, dual-pane SFTP with remote editing, SSH key management, Docker & Compose management, live server monitoring, network path testing, and SSH security monitoring in one app. It doubles as an MCP server so Claude Code, Codex, and other agents can drive your connections through visible, approvable terminal tabs. Session output is recorded, AI-titled, searchable, and replayable. Connections and keys stay encrypted on your Mac, with optional end-to-end encrypted iCloud sync.
Key Features
Native Multi-Tab SSH Terminal
Multi-tab sessions with ⌘1–⌘9 switching, jump hosts, ZMODEM rz/sz transfers, command history, and paste confirmation for risky multiline input.
Live Server & Security Monitoring
Real-time CPU, memory, network, load, and process dashboards on connect, plus read-only SSH auth-log parsing that flags suspected brute-force successes.
Dual-Pane SFTP & Docker Management
Drag-and-drop file transfers with remote editing in VS Code or Cursor, and remote container state, resources, ports, and logs in one place.
Agent Bridge (MCP)
Let Claude Code or Codex run commands in real, visible terminal tabs and move files over SFTP — passwords and private keys never reach the agent, and every action is logged.
