About Mole

Mole is a native macOS utility (with a free open-source CLI) that replaces a shelf of paid tools: deep-clean caches, logs, and developer build artifacts across ten reviewable categories; uninstall apps with their leftovers; check updates from Sparkle, the App Store, and Homebrew; maintain macOS services in one run; analyze disk usage with a whole-disk treemap; and watch live CPU, GPU, memory, temperatures, and fan metrics from the menu bar. Scans and cleanup stay entirely on your Mac — files and results are never uploaded.

Key Features

Deep, Reviewable Cleanup

Ten cleanup categories with safer regenerable caches first — review each item before choosing what to clean, skip, or protect. Nothing is uploaded.

App Uninstall & Updates

Uninstall apps together with related leftovers, see sizes before removing, and check updates from Sparkle, App Store, Homebrew, and other sources.

Whole-Disk Treemap Analysis

A visual treemap makes the largest files and folders easy to spot. Drill into any folder, then jump back from the path bar.

Live System Status

CPU, memory, GPU, disk, network, temperature, and fan metrics in real time — plus battery status for paired iPhone, iPad, and Bluetooth accessories — right in the menu bar.
